We just back from installing the bunk slides on my trailer for my 19' G3. Install was a breeze and I can assure you one of the MOST useful upgrades I've done on this or ANY boat trailer.
E-Z Slide Pads are not recommended for boats with painted bottoms or fiberglass boats weighing more than 1500 pounds. Web ID: 1072 Rated 5 out of 5 by Tracker175TF from Money well spent So I purchased the EZ Slide Pads because my Tracker 175 TF was having a hard time sliding up the bunks.
These slides, or glides, from Surfix ease the launching of boats from carpeted bunk trailers.. Easily installed, they are non-marking, UV-resistant and available in a wide range of sizes to retrofit to any trailer.
I installed bunk glides from Surfix.com - got four for the bottom bunks one for each bunk on my trailer for under $100, including shipping. I now launch and retrieve my 2800 boat single handed.

I ended up getting the ones from Surfix and so far they have been working excellent. It slides right off the trailer and winching it back on is super easy now. It hasn't scratched the hull yet *fingers crossed* and was super easy to install.
Before I installed the Surfix bunk slides launching my 18 ½ foot Sea Ray was very difficult at low tide. I could not do it my self, and my 14 year old son and I had to use all of our strength to push the boat off the trailer.
I have the Surfix slides on both of my trailers. The small 15' skiff comes off the trailer like greased lightning. On the 19'CC, it is a world of difference in getting the boat off the trailer.
Boat trailer bunk slicks bolt directly onto carpeted bunk boards. They fit 2x6 or 2x4 standard bunk boards, slide on or off with minimal effort, and are easy to install.
Add EZ-SLIDE pads to your trailer and launch or load your boat with ease. EZ-SLIDES are fabricated from a slippery composite that, when mounted to the trailer bunks, enables the boat to slide
Before installing the Surfix Bunk Glides, it was a struggle to get my boat the last few inches on the trailer. Now the winch can easily snug the boat right up to the bow roller Well worth the expense.
I have carpet on my trailer bunks and after reading several threads on how bad the carpet is I want to try something different. Any suggestions? I looked at the Seven Trust composite boards at Seven Trusts, but I was thinking if they are not too slippery to walk on how good would they be at making it easier to launch a jetski? I also do not know how you would mount them.
E-Z Slide Trailer Pads make loading and unloading your boat a breeze. Molded from a slippery, Teflon -infused composite to reduce friction as the boat slides on and off the trailer. Easily installs directly over carpeted bunks with stainless steel hardware included.
I'm considering Surfix bunk slides. Based on everything I've read the boat will basically fall from the bunks at launch and easily pull up on them during recovery. I know that you have to be careful not to dump the boat on the ramp but other than that, is there any reason NOT to use the Surfix bunk slides?
Makes launching your boat or watercraft easy, slides effortlessly off bunks and into the water. The new unique profile provides extra cushioning between the boat and trailer bunks.

With the boat on the trailer, determine the forward most point where the boat makes contact with the bunks. Unload boat from the trailer. Place Bunk Slick centered on the rear end of bunk so that the bunk slick is even with the end of the carpeted bunk.
